Envirotech and Tandem win partnership award at prestigious FM Awards ceremony

Envirotech is celebrating after picking up an award at one of the Facilities Management industry’s most respected and prestigious awards ceremonies.

The FM division of the Birmingham headquartered company was awarded the PFM Awards Partnerships in SME Organisations award in recognition of the successful delivery of services across the Tandem Property Asset Management portfolio.

The PFM Awards recognise the essential requirement of forging effective partnerships, with its dedicated independent judging panel rewarding the very best examples of these within all sectors of the FM industry.

For the first time, the presentation held on 17th March 2021, was hosted as an online presentation ceremony due to COVID-19 restrictions. Members of the Envirotech team eagerly tuned in and watched the company recognised by judges ahead of the other shortlisted organisations.

Pinder Hujan, Envirotech FM Managing Director, said: “This award is richly deserved for the outstanding performance that the FM team has delivered relating to our partnership with Tandem. We listened and took the Tandem requirements and have built a total solution over the last 700 days that has been recognised as an agile, flexible business solution.

“Since establishing Envirotech FM, we have been determined not to simply provide an ‘off the shelf’ solution and instead we have created a Technology led bespoke service offering to reflect the client’s needs. We have taken their requirements and created a solution that very much positions us as their fourth emergency service for whatever the situation demands and we have a relationship whereby the client knows that when they have an issue, then we can find a solution.

“This award represents everything that Envirotech stands for, as we have made a conscious decision to avoid a ‘cookie-cutter’ approach to service delivery. Several of our team have joined Envirotech from some of the larger FM organisations; in fact, Jeff Smith and me previously held CEO & Chairman roles with over 3,500 staff in our business previously. It was important to us we fostered less of a standard operator manual and much more think autonomously regarding how best to deliver a solution which makes us stand-out from our competitors, we look forward our team to keep building and delivering this vision”.
